Chinese Government Scholarship
1. Category of CGS
This scholarship is designed for excellent overseas students, teachers, and scholars who proceed with their study in China for Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree,Doctor's degree and doctorate for other majors.
2. The Duration of CGS
This content of the duration of CGS includes professional learning and Chinese remedy(preparatory course).The detail is in the table below.

3.The Language Used for Teaching
(1) The teaching language for students of Bachelor's degree who win CGS is Mandarin (the standard Chinese). Students of Bachelor's degree who win CGS must study Mandarin and basic knowledge for one year in the host institutes of preparatory course. Those who pass the assessment can start their study for Bachelor's degree.
*Addition:
When one of the two requirements is met, you do not have to take preparatory courses.
① You’ve completed the secondary education by the language of Mandarin. And when you are applying, confirmation paper offered by your graduation school is quite necessary.
② Your Mandarin level has met the college admission requirement. And the application should be attached with a copy of the valid Chinese Proficiency Test Results Report, also called HSK, and its period of validity is 2 years.
(2) Generally, teaching language for international graduate students and visiting students is Mandarin, but some majors are English. More information about it, you can turn to the Student Office in the College of International Education in Anhui Normal University.
① If you’ve chosen Mandarin while your level is under the requirements, Mandarin learning course for 1-2years is a must. Otherwise, if you still can’t meet it, you will be not eligible for the scholarship.
② If you’ve chosen Mandarin and your Mandarin level is above the requirements, Chinese remedies would be surely unnecessary for you.
4. The Contents and Standards of Scholarships
(1) Thefull scholarship
●Students are exempt from registration fees, tuition, practice fee, internship fees, fees for basic learning materials.
The fees of beyond the school teaching plan experiments or internship should be paid by yourself .
Fees for the basic learning materials means textbooks required for the specified courses.You should pay other books and materials by yourself.
●Free accommodation on campus.
●Free scholarship and monthly living allowances are provided at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month):
CNY 1,400 for undergraduate
CNY 1,700 for graduate and general visiting students
CNY 2,000 for doctoral students and advanced visiting students
School will give full scholarships and living wages to these students who register before fifteenth of that month,you can only get half of it if you register after fifteenth of that month
●Offer one-off resettlement subsidy
The one-off resettlement subsidy is CNY 1,000 for students who will study in China for less than one academic year.
The one-off resettlement subsidy is CNY 1,500 for students who will study in China for one academic year or more
●Offer outpatient medical service and comprehensive insurance for foreign students who win CGS.
●Provideaone–time transportation expense between cities(according to the fact):
School will pay you a one-time hard or sleeper seat when you get to your academic school or cram Chinese (preparatory) school from entry port .
School will pay you a one-time hard or sleeper seat when you get to your academic school after cram Chinese (preparatory) school learning.
School will pay you a one-time hard or sleeper seat to entry port from your academic school city after graduating.

5. Application Process
(1) Applicants should get the support from Chinese embassy, after checking , embassy will issue official seal of Chinese government scholarship fund justify to those eligible applicants.
(2) The applicants should contact with our school CIE international student office, our school will sent admission notice to qualified applicants after permission .
(3) The applicants should enter country scholarship council online enrollment system ,then, please fill in your information to register and fill out the application form online .
(4) The applicants must submit all your paper application materials to embassy before 30th,April .
